Summary:
This session focuses on cutting-edge technological innovations in intelligent operation and maintenance (O&M) for port and ocean engineering infrastructures. It aims to explore multidisciplinary approaches to enhance system safety, operational efficiency, and sustainability in the context of digital transformation. We solicit contributions addressing the applications of emerging technologies—including digital twins, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, IoT, intelligent sensing technologies, and autonomous robotics—in critical scenarios such as smart port scheduling optimization, marine environment perception, lifecycle simulation and performance prediction of structures, dynamic risk early-warning systems, and intelligent safety control. We encourage research that integrates data-driven approaches, algorithm frameworks, physical models, numerical simulations, and system development, as well as resilient O&M strategies for extreme weather and complex marine conditions.
